The sun peeked over the rolling green hills as Lolli the purple elephant stretched her trunk high into the sky.
“Good morning, Spring!” she giggled.
Wolli, the bright blue elephant, bounced beside her, holding a tiny garden shovel. “Today’s the day! Garden time!”
Across the garden patch, Eli the teddy bear adjusted his blue overalls and carefully read the seed packets. “Carrots here… cucumbers there… and strawberries along the fence,” he announced proudly.
Lilli, wearing her sunny yellow polka-dot dress, clapped her paws. “Oh, I just love strawberry season! They’re sweet like sunshine!”
The four friends got right to work.
Lolli used her strong trunk to scoop neat little rows in the soft brown soil. Wolli carefully dropped tiny cucumber seeds into each hole. Eli gently patted the dirt down with his paws. And Lilli sprinkled strawberry seeds while humming a happy spring song.
Soon, the garden was full of hope — and a little bit of mud!
Butterflies fluttered by. Birds chirped cheerful tunes. The warm breeze carried the sweet promise of growing things.
“Do you think they’ll sprout tomorrow?” Wolli asked with wide green eyes.
Eli chuckled. “Gardens take patience, my friend.”
Lilli twirled in the sunshine. “But waiting makes it magical!”
Just then, a tiny green sprout poked up from the soil.
“Look!” Lolli cheered. “Spring is already saying hello!”
The friends gathered close, smiling from ear to ear. They knew that with teamwork, sunshine, and a little love, their garden would soon be bursting with crunchy carrots, cool cucumbers, and the juiciest strawberries ever.
And as they skipped home with muddy paws and happy hearts, they all agreed—
Spring was their favorite adventure of all. 🌷🌱🍓

What a cute short story. My daughter enjoyed it.
